Make yourself ready for one minute of action! The new "60 seconds" webisode features half pipe competitor and DAKINE rider Anaïs Caradeux. Her dedication and passion have turned her into a top rider in the global scene. The ever happy and smiley French girl has scored the silver position twice in this season's major events, the Euro X Games and the World Championship in Voss; and she has ranked 3rd overall in the AFP (Association of Freeskiing Professionals) list. Hold on to your chair and enjoy the ride!

The final FWT event in Verbier last march 22nd hosted the final of the Freeride Juniors by DAKINE too. The young guns provided a top level performance, making a loud statement that they are the future stars of freeriding. Audience, judges and pro riders were more than impressed; as Berti Devernaud, head of judges, put it: "this is a new generation of really good competitors". The Freeride Juniors by DAKINE tour takes pride in this achievement, as the friendly atmosphere combined with dedicated safety workshops is bringing the joy and seriousness of high level competition to the young scene. Congrats to the winners of the 2013 tour!

Last january 26th-27th Chamonix-Mont Blanc witnessed some amazingly progressive riding under perfect weather conditions and a cloudless sky - a superb kick-off of the DAKINE FREERIDE JUNIOR series! The competition took place on saturday, at the same time as the pros on another venue. Our congrats to the winners Max Thidling (snow men), Maurane Stritmatter (snow women), Carl Renvall (ski men 14-15 y), Pierre Colonge (ski men 16-17 y) and Besse Maude (ski women) After the excitement of the competition, the prize giving and the party on saturday, followed a day of security workshops and freeride with a guide on sunday.

Our DAKINE skiers Romain Grojean, Kevin Guri and Jéremy Prévost, along with mates Julien Lange and Jules Bonnaire, have developed a video series in which they pay tribute to ski of every shape and form: freestyle, back country, freeride... They will be roaming the French Alps on their skis and with their cameras during the whole season to bring you the delights of every spot they ride. The first webisode of FIRST TRACK is a recap of their season debut, over six minutes of powder skiing in Les Arcs, Méribel and Les Menuires that will make you search for your ski boots the moment you hit play.

The weekend of march 22nd was one of glory and pride for the DAKINE family as we celebrated the fantastic results of two of our Ski and Outerwear team riders, Kevin Guri and Anaïs Caradeux.

Kevin Guri made it to the top position in the prestigious Swatch Xtreme Verbier 2.013 by the North Face. Kevin, 23, nailed his victory at the famous Bec des Rosses with a spectacular high speed run and big air landing, which gave him the fantastic score of 86.33 points.
Anaïs Caradeux went to Tignes on a mission and got the silver at the Women's Ski Superpipe competition. A massive first-hit 900 and style-out grabs scored her 85.33 points granting her the second position at the X-Games Tignes 2.013.
